The Maxi 48 EX offers enhanced features and great flexibility. Perfect for incubating rare breeds and highly valuable eggs this 48-egg incubator provides the convenience of programmable automatic turning with the reassurance of digital alarms and integral automatic control of humidity. The new Maxi 48 EX is menu driven and extremely easy to use. In normal operation the display shows incubation temperature, humidity and turning status. Opening the menu allows the user to adjust incubation temperature, the unit °C or °F, incubation humidity %RH, turning interval down to a minimum of 5 minutes ideal for parrots, turning angle, cooling duration and high and low temperature alarm limits. Humidity is accurately controlled: just program the desired humidity level, keep the external humidity pump reservoir (not provided) topped up and the incubator does the rest. Eggs are turned by rotating egg quadrants that can be mixed-and-matched perfect for hatching different species simultaneously providing optimal breeding flexibility. Four sets are supplied for 48 standard chicken eggs, 24 large chicken, duck or turkey eggs, 64 small quail eggs and 16 extra large eggs like goose. The clear walls of the egg chamber mean fantastic visibility of the hatching eggs without lifting the dome and the fan assisted design coupled with detailed airflow analysis results in exceptionally even heating of the eggs to ensure consistent and reliable hatches. Like all Brinsea products the Maxi 48 EX egg incubator comes with a 3-year warranty subject to registration.
